Occupational Therapy in Macksville: Strategies for Kids at Home, School and preschool

Lee Maitz is bringing a workshop for teachers, health professionals, support workers and families- anyone working with children to Macksville!

Workshop content has been developed from 15 years of supporting children and families across the home, clinic and education settings and will explore the common challenges associated with additional needs including:

  • Sensory Processing

  • Emotions and behaviour

  • Eating and sleep patterns

  • School participation

  • Play and social skills

  • Communication skills

  • Gross and fine motor skills

Participants will take away an understanding of the common challenges many children are experiencing, how these challenges present in children, and will learn a variety of practical ideas and strategies to get started with straight away to support children across their environments including home, school and preschool
